Aveyond and AVG locked in a battle to the death...
...and AVG is winning
Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, June 29th and we will be returning on Monday, July 6th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time.
...and AVG is winning
No, you're not.
Next time AVG detects it, Go to the Virus Vault, Select the Aveyond program files (AVG detects two of them as infected, last I checked), and select the "Send to analysis" option. This is AVG's method of reporting false positives. (Sending an email to support as well probably isn't a bad idea, but technically is not a supported method of reporting false positives.)
To maintain the breakneck pace of this conversation I should really wait until May to reply but WTH - cheers! I'll give that a shot next time I get the urge to try Aveyond.
AVG can have 'extra' security items, like a SpyBot/AdAware function. Often going into AVG's settings you can turn these off, and it may help.
