Removing Jagged Knife Mega Event

because I've killed them off three times and I'm sick of it

I'd like some info on where I can find the Jagged Knife mega event, I'm kind of sick of half my planets getting taken constantly, I've got spore ships outside every single colony I own -.- not to mention because of jagged knife there's a bug where if they take a planet you're building a wonder/super project on you'll lose your wonder/super project and can't build it again. Anyways, if you could tell me how to remove this mega event from the game I'd really apreciate it. (Aside from just turning off mega events :P)

Nowhere, its hardcoded and compiled into the "mega-events bundle".
Either turn mega events off, or live with Jagged Knife, Peachkeepers etc...

Hold it... i wonder if "REM_ming" (or strictly deleting the guilty sections) some of these xml content would do just that.
Mind you, i haven't tried it yet or even if i will (from curiosity) as it could possibly crash the game, but i think the basic idea of giving the power to select which Mega-Events could be made active right at the configuration steps (Tick Abundant-Asteroids, etc) by selecting any from a drop-drown list as a new optional feature (In version 2.0... i hope!) would simply do IT for us all.

Think about it - you've got THE Jagged Knife only to expect - you dunno when, but it's sure to happen ONCE and will not occur along with many others unless you explicitely define it as a pre-game option.
