Are Devs Advent lovers? Are they religious?

Looking at the major changes.

Flak nerf by almost HALF

Subs got nerf.

RA nerf. No more FREE ships

Vassari was the only race that could take on Advent. Now all I'll see everyone play is advent.


So repulse is a channeling ability. Can they move while doing this ability? Is there a channeling time delay? Can the channeling be interrupted if attacked?

Is this because JJ was dominating all with vassari?

Actually, all the races strikecraft are fairly comparable. Vasari bombers are pretty tough too, while the Advent have larger numbers of easier to kill strikecraft. Advent have the extra tech upgrades for their hangars, but I don't think you really notice one races strikecraft being that much better than anothers -- the difference is pretty small. This perception goes back to the early versions of the game when Advent Drone carriers were cheaper, I think.

But enough of that reasonable talk! Let's get back on topic!

If the devs were biased in favor of advent, malice would not have been nerfed so badly.

aren't they fixing malice again in the next update? in my opinion Advent is the best race because they have the illuminators and Gaurdians. which are the best ship in the game in numbers. nothing else makes the advent stand out. Frankly they are rather pathetic compared to the other races.

I have to agree with Spiral, but still. Illums and Guardians with repulse more than make up for that. It looks like every race is getting some minor reductions, with TEC receiving the least changes, Advent seeing a decent amount of changes, and Vasari getting the works.

To me, it seems like both Advent's and Vasari's biggest weapons are getting nerfed to a degree. Although I think that Advent is getting the worse deal here. Vasari can at least put up a decent fight without RA. But most Advent fleets these days seem to rely on lots of illums even during the later stages of a game. We'll see I guess.

I'm still pissed about malice but anyways... It seems like in every update they tend to lean to a certain race a bit more. Like when the advent sucked back in like 1.03/4 then they rebalanced again. This time though I think the Vasari are going to suck a lot maybe not as much as advent in 1.03/4 but still suck. I loved getting the free ships and to me I think there was no point in changing it anyway. If I'm not mistaken the research to get the phase gate thing is a high level one like 6+? Then the free ships is 7 or 8 I think. By the time I get to that level I usually have a basically unlimited supply of resources coming in from so many planets so all they're really doing is slowing the Vasari down a minute or two in game assuming you have like 3 or 4+ frig factories. They should make it so to get the free ships you need to click on a button on the phase gate (I think it's called) and when clicked the ships spawn but 5% of every resource income is paid per second. One thing needs to be reworked bad though, the Advent super weapon. I haven't seen even one person online yet including me who has actually used the damn thing since it sucks so much. Let it do something else like take away alot of their culture and after it hits for like 2 or 3 minutes it keeps on lowering the culture there or temporarily stops any resource income from that planet O_o.

Yeah I have been saying for a while that the Advent and Vasari super weapons were underpowered compared to the TEC and vice versa on How under powered the TEC and Advent super ability is to the Vasari super ability RA.
In fact in terms of Super ability and Super Weapon The TEC is the Most balanced being how they Have the novalith that does 3000 damage to a planet in one hit and Insurgency which randomly attacks weakly defended planets under the enemy control.
