Hi everyone. I'm completely new to the world of skinning and would love to get started with my recent purchase of Object Desktop so I was wondering if you guys could tell me what your preferred software is for creating the images to be used in a skin.

Some people will suggest some alternative "free" software. None are very easy to use and you will eventually end up wasting time.

I think you can get Corel products through Impulse as well and possibly save some $.

Paintshop Pro.....not free, but a hell of a lot cheaper than Photoshop or Corel Draw

Corel makes Paint Shop Pro, but it is not in Impulse?
