I want to make a human only tech how do i...

I made a tech called Humanium and the AI (witch are not humans) keep resurching it even though its Ai prority is a 1 and other techs are usualy much higher. This make the Trade Screen "ugly" cause how are they soposed to be the best human they can be humans if i dont yet and arnt humans in the frist place,

if i set the AI thing to 0 will they ignore it all together or just make them wait till they have reasurched every thing else then do that or CTD?

Try it and see... and report your results!

But to answer your question - there are several late game techs that do not have an AI setting at all (all of the 4D techs for example)

By warned though that the AI setting might also be used to determine how much an AI values a tech in trading (for example try to sell Stellar Cartography and see how much you can get for it :notsure: ). So if you want a valuable tech then an AI setting of zero may not work for you.

Hmmm... I wonder if this is how Brad crew have "disabled" the tech victory for the AI since beyond human, final frontier, etc. have no AI value...
(doubt it tho' probably hard coding)

O.k. so I couldn't wait for you to try it... so I went and did it myself ;)

If you set the AI to zero then the computer races DO NOT seem to try and research the tech. You can still sell it to them, but not for very much (I mean really not much... like a couple of bc - less than 10 or so! :p )

No matter WHAT you set Final Frontier to the AI won't research it (and of course you can't give it to them because once you get it... you win! ;))
