I've been trying to fix this issue now for a week or so. I have a new computer that I'm running Vista Home Premium. I'm using the Wincustomize Browser by stardock. But for some reason, I cannot update any of the skins within the browswer. When i try to do so, I get an error message. I've contacted Stardock about it and they haven't been much help. Can anyone shed some light. Does this have anything to do with Vista not being compatable with the browswer?

Have you cleared all your IE7 Cookies?

If what Zubaz suggests doesn't works, refresh your XML data under tools. If that doesn't work, uninstall SDC, run a clean up program like CCleaner reboot and reinstall SDC. It could be just a bad download of SDC.

Since you are on Vista make sure you are running in Admin mode or with Admin privliges. I don't run Vista so not sure what it is called.

Worth trying if you haven't all ready done so.
