Sins Expansion Pack

There was some talk about an expansion pack comeing in the "...very near future"(1) in an April WIRED magazine blog. Is there any truth to this? If so where can I get more info?

updated 1.1 is in beta right now. beyond that there may be expansions. if you want more try some of the mods that have been developed.
