For my self I have used music from inside other games.
Master of Orion 3 : Great music.
Freelancer : Great music and sound effects.
Stronghold 1 & 2 : Used mostly just as playlist.
Sim City 4 : Most of Sim City 4 music is GREAT for the playlist!
I convert them into MP3 lame format 160 bitrate. I Use dBpowerAMP music converter. You can find it on www.zdnet.com , search for it in their Downloads section. You could use Media Jukebox, Music Match or whatever as well. Its just that dBpowerAMP works with a simple right click inside your favorite file manager program. And for me that is PowerDesk 5, that you can also download via ZDnet.
