from WinCustomize Forums

After my month off, im pleased to announce that im back.  Ive had time to reflect, heal, meditate, soul search and smoke a couple of cigs and guzzle some cola.

And I don't intend to leave again, unless I die of course.  I have so far strived to achieve master apprentice, and my new goal is to reach journeyman, and one day master status.

 

So three cheers for KittyMalone, she's back, bolder than ever, more artistic and imaginative than ever, and HERE TO STAY.

Kitty while I do love you...I think there is a lot of truth to what Sydney said.
2 ½ weeks.....equals a month?

....come....go....stay....don’t stay....skin....don’t skin.....get promoted.....don’t get promoted.....whatever.....why not just get on and do it..quietly....like everyone else?.....

All kinda feels manipulative to me, since about the ‘females don’t get treated equally here’ thread...

Personally....it seems like you’re in it for all the wrong reasons.....


I mean really. Either skin or dont skin. Stop creating posts about how unfairly your treated or whats wrong with you...either do it or dont. We support what you decide.

Orright folks, let's not make a mountain out of a molehill here... 2 1/2 weeks, a month, who cares... so how about we let bygones be bygones and get on with the 'now' rather than dwell on the past. Please. :)

OK, Kitty has had some issues that we may not fully understand, but what we do know is that she has been going through a difficult period of late, and that, my friends, is why we need to offer her our support and understanding at this time... rather than criticisms that could/would contribute to bringing her down all over again. So come on folks, let's let's spread the love around so that Kitty doesn't feel like she has to leave again because she feels like she's not appreciated, wanted or needed here. :)

I am glad you have dealt with your issues and will be skinning again but something you said in your goodbye post did sound manipulative. Where is the fun in someone threatening suicide?  :NOTSURE:

I actually wrote i was leaving in my please cheer me up thread, a couple of days ago but i thought it was unfair to leave everyone in the dark.....no fun at all that way.

While Kitty's posts may seem extreme to some, that is unfortunately the nature of bi-polar disorder.

My wife has 3 aunts with the same affliction, so I've seen what it can do!

IMO we should welcome our wacky skinner back with open arms, regardless of her "motivations"

I am aware of your personal/health issues......you have discussed them in your posts many times.....and I am not insensitive to them.....and they, and your time off to deal with them....were not the prompts for my comments.....

My post was about your issue of requiring constant attention....about your repeated references since the ‘unfair to females’ post about becoming Master.....it‘s fine to have goals....I’m sure many people here do....I don’t know who they are....’cause they don’t keep on going on about it....just one day.....like Javier the other day.....a post will pop up announcing a member who has worked bloody hard, produced constant amazing work.....and they are blown away by being chosen.....

This constant dance for attention in your quest is overkill and....for as many people here who have been lovely in welcoming you back....there are no doubt..others, who are over it.....and I don’t think it does you any favours not to be honest. I also have considerable experience of people with bi-polar....from relatives, close friends and acquaintances....it’s naturally taken into account, but I don’t insult them by treating them differently and not being honest with them.

I’m sorry if you see this as an attack.....it’s merely offering advice, as I see it.....way overdue.....maybe, if you think about it, you can glean something from it.

Kitty I'm a relative newbie on this site, but I have read your posts about leaving, I even heard you singing on the podcast, used your skins, which are great by the way, I don't know you as well as some of the other guys and girls, but I think you are quite a character and I admire you for that, so if you are well enough to come back a'skinning, great, I can't wait to see your next masterpiece, welcome back :CONGRAT: :HOT: :CONGRAT: :HOT:

I have to admit, I can understand some of the confusion..I'm a bit befuddled myself. Your post about leaving seemed kind of permanent, much like Boxxi's. I didn't get the impression from the post that you were just taking a break. You went as far as to give permission for folks to render your work...like Boxxi. (Are you going to change that now that you are back? Cause it's still posted ;) )

Whatever your reasons, etc., I hope all is well and you can get back to skinning for the love of it. Life has enough distractions and interruptions all on it's own. Having goals is good. Just remember, sometimes the things worth having don't come easy. ;)

Precisely... so how about we let bygones be bygones, brush off the welcome mat and open our arms to a truly gifted skinner. I'm sure Kitty is aware that she could have handled things differently, and given the time again I'm sure she would, so to discuss it any further is unnecessary and rubbing salt in the wound.

BTW Kitty, I am glad that you're back and ready to skin again... that's a positive sign and I sincerely hope that you can rise above it all, become stronger and are here to stay. :)

I agree starkers, Kitty is back, we should just say welcome back to her instead of filling up this thread and questioning why she left in the first place.

Kitty is a very unique skinner among unique skinners, her style isn't easy to imitate or duplicate and she brings alot to this site. I think it's great that she feels better and has decided to return to the site.

Let's keep the good karma flowing folks. We should all be happy when someone returns to the skinning community.

It's nice to see you back Kitty, welcome back!!!

I DONT THINK KITTY IS COMPLAINING. SHE WANTS TO BECOME A MASTER...who doesn't want to progress..the only issue is that she has expressed her eagerness...
