No music after loading game

Hi

Often when loading a saved game in the campaign of either Dark Avatar or Twilight of the Arnor I find there is no background music playing and it will not come back until a new game starts. Event music will still play, and the main menu music always plays, and when starting a new game or moving onto a new level in the campaign the music starts playing again. I have not had this problem in the original Dread Lords.

I have tried unticking and ticking again the boxes in the audio options but no luck. I have downloaded multimedia updates for the game from Stardock Central.  I have no sound problems in other games. I have Windows XP.

I've had the same problem for quite a while now. I've tried everything you have with the same luck. :(

I, too, am now having the same issue when loading saved campaign games in ToTA 2.02.

Debug.err doesn't have any relevent errors.  I read in one of the patch notes they made changes so that the game would randomize the music more often, perhaps the music is getting to the end of the list?  Sort of like having shuffle turned on but repeat turned off in media player? * shrug *

I'm having this problem in DA too. Anyone found any solution how to get the music back? This didn't happen in DL.
