some show up, some don't

All of my wallpapers download to the default location on the C drive. They are all in exactly the same location, yet some show up and some do not. Any advice would be appreciated.

I would guess that your computer won't play the MPEG dreams (some dreams are MPEG, some are WMV). I suggest you follow my instructions at http://www.vistadreams.org/codec/

I followed all the instructions on the support news letter and everything is working great now, with one exception. I can view all the files, but they are (for lack of a better word), "jerky". Is it my computer (missing a "codec" or something else equally cryptic)or is it a bad looping issue?

Not likely to be a looping issue. What kind of video card are you running? Also are your drivers up to date? You could have a wonky codec installed and testing that is as simple as uninstalling it, reinstalling it again, or simply finding another free version to test. Are you running a 32 bit or 64 bit system?

It's a Radeon 9600 SE (dual monitor) and it's a 32 bit system. Not sure I remember how to update the drivers.
