Icon Background Color/Transparency

Hiya,

I am almost sure when I first installed the themes I have with mycolors that when I first tried them out today (for some reason I had to uninstall my previous version and reinstall it again today) they were fine, then when I rebooted after choosing to keep the new Gloss Burgundy theme (nice job I might add also), my icons no longer have a transparent background on my desktop, but a light grey color that really looks crappy.

I tried changing the color via the Properties setup (right click desktop and go to Properties then Desktop tab), but when I reboot it goes back to this icky light grey that comes through the Wallpaper.  I'm not sure what I did or if I did anything but if anyone knows how to make the icons not have a colored background on the desktop (without having to load another application to do it that is since it did it when I first loaded these themes) please help me, thanks.

open 'my computer'
'view sytstem information' under system tasks on the left
'advanced' tab
performance > 'settings'

scroll down the list to the bottom and see if 'use drop shadows for icon labels on desktop' is checked

if not, check it and apply

thank you, although it wasn't checked, what I did remember is that I had changed those settings so that some of those things wouldn't be active, and I think that's when the background color showed up. I have it fixed now, thanks for pointing me back to that area :)
