A Girlie Joke

The worldseems crazy right now between the crazy protestors smashing car windows and creating much havoc outside the RNC, the case of the missing three year old in our neck of the woods and the weather going bonkers all around us.

Sometimes you just need a good joke to get your mind off things.  

My husband sent this one.  The gals will like it. 

Three men were hiking thru a forest when they came upon a large, raging violent river.  Needing to get to the other side, the first man prayed. 

"GOd please give me the strength to cross the river."

POOF!  God gave him big arms and strong legs and he was able to swim across in about two hours, almost drowning twice.

After witnessing that, the second man prayed. 

"God please give me strength and tools to cross the river." 

POOF!  God gave him a rowboat and strong arms and strong legs.  He was able to cross the river in about an hour nearly capsizing only once. 

Seeing what happened to the first two men, the third man prayed. 

 "God please give me the strength, the tools and the intelligence to cross the river.

POOF!  He was turned into a woman.  She checked the map, hiked 100 yards upstream and walked across the bridge.

Leave it to a woman to take the easy way across. :P

Nearly dying to get across a river is manly! :D

Though I wish God would *poof* me things once in awhile...but that would disobey the laws of physics and probably cause the end of the world. :)

Cute...sexist, but cute.  The advantage went to the men, they got to keep the arms and legs, did the girl get to keep the bridge?
