Is the Dev gives feedback of our ideas?

Hi all,

I would like to know if the Dev gives any feedback from the posts in this forum.

There is really good ideas I think that are posted in here. For example, I personnaly think their is really a big improvements to be done with the camera (the angle and how we move the camera on screen).

Is there a post where they say: "We think this is a good idea and will try to introduce this feature or This is not a good idea because blablabla"?

Or we can only wait for the next beta and hope something will be done.

(or I simply didn't see the topic and sorry for that).

They have before.

 

But i think they don't want to put any hopes up.

Like a dev could psot that something is a good idea, but then they try it, and decide it doesn't work, so we never even get it in our build, and people wonder why the devs say it was a good idea but it was never added.

oh well.... I hope they would do so.

I think this game has very good potential, but some big flaws prevent me to suggest this game to my friends... I know it is still beta 1, but I have the feeling those flaws won't be corrected.

Personnaly the gameplay for me is about 50% of a good game, and currently the gameplay is really not the best I played.

oh well! I can only hope! Keep up the good work!

I'm a developer of another company, not game related.  I already don't have enough time giving feedback and testing people's idea inside the company.  If I had to answer everyone's ideas outside the company, i'll never get anything done.

You are right. But perhaps someone is hired to read topic in forums and gather all the info. They do a report and show it to the dev. I think it is some valuable info... because we are the one that will buy the game and tell our friend: "Hey buy this game because it is good".

GPG is a small company.

 

Sometimes companys do have someone to go around and condense forum topics for other devs, but uslaly that's bigger companys, or hte big companies don't care.

 

But you'll see in beta feedback that devs have responded to bug threads.

And Tyo has responded in here like 3 times at least. :P

 

And i've had some of the devs mention to me on IRC about my UI thread and other feedback.. so yes they are watching.  But it takes longer to post than to read and they are busy.
