How do I rotate the view? Is there also a key to return to the default angle?

Just hold the space button and move your mouse. No, I don't think you can return to the default angle.

I think that double-tapping the space bar resets your view to default angle and elevation (the shot you see right when you start a game).

I think that you can push Home and then End (dual-view mode and then single again)
