Problems with fonts...

1st problem

I see caption font like in this image

as u can see, the font looks not clean...i turned on cleartype, but the problem remains

How can i resolve?

 

 

2nd problem

How can i change font with skin studio? I go in "change skin fonts" --> select font for caption and bottons (for exemple) --> click "change font" and select new font --> click "apply"...but the font doesn't change. Why?

@ nickdc:

1. I don't remember exactly how to resolve that but I do remember having had the same problem. Play a bit with text shadow, I think it had something to do with it.

2. I have the exact same problem (opened a thread quite some time ago, no answers). My changed fonts simply aren't shown when applied. The only way I know to resolve this one is by editing the corresponding *.uis file with a text editor.

The forums are not meant for official support.  You need to email [email protected] for that.

The forums are where you can seek help from the members of the community that may have come or run across the problem you maybe having.  At times a Stardock support person may stop by and reply if the answer is quick and easy.

A non reply usually means that no one had an answer or your post was just missed by someone who could answer (happens a lot).

I have clear type and anti-alisising enabled with my fonts in both regular and per-pixel frames...and they work fine.

nickdc, are you saving the changes in skin studio?  If you don't save, your changes will not show up when you re-apply the skin.

It sounds like you are using skin studio 6...if you are, I can't tell you all the steps necessary to change fonts.  I am still using version 5, and I think things are done differently, as far as making changes.

I'll rephrase that, it doesnt work.. very well.. at all. Its been an issue for a while.
