Demigod Beta 1A Change Log
Get ready to get dirty
Stardock and Gas Powered Games will soon be releasing the first update for Beta 1 of Demigod via Impulse. This build contains a number of changes (outlined below) and will be buggy. When giving us feedback, please follow the same guidelines as were set for the initial beta by giving us as much detail as possible - one bug per post.
This version will appear in Impulse as 0.52.
Changes & Improvements:
- New demigod - the Unclean Beast! To play him is to learn him! Just...shower afterwards.
- New Map - the Mine.
- Numerous UI improvements and polish, including the end-game synopsis, scoreboard and many other elements of the UI.
- Regular additions for the soundscape for Demigod, as well as numerous sound system improvements and bug fixes.
- Major Torch Bearer overhaul, and numerous tweaks to the Rook and Regulus skill trees and cooldowns.
- XP Tweaked: The amount of experience required to level-up has been increased and the flag awards reduced.
- Some demigod epic deaths are starting to make an appearance. Don't die, but if you do, watch for the changes.
- Numerous FX changes, additions and polish.
- The AI continues to get minor tweaks to improve its general behavior. A major AI pass will not occur for some time, but this update should make it more competitive.
- Ping is available in-game now. Use the "P" key to indicate where help is needed or where you are planning your next attack for your teammates.
- Zip file and retail executables. On slower hard drives, this should speed up file access speeds a little bit, and will also make future downloads of the game much smaller.
