trade route bonuses Q

Could someone please tell me - if you build a starbase with a module that increasing the revenue from freighters passing thru the sector, does this only apply to your freighters or to any freighters that are trading with you?

I didn't answer this when I first saw the question because I'm not sure of the answer, but I think that it benefits all freighters.

it applys to your unless the UP passes the thing about helping your allies.

Also remember that if your trade route isn't horizontal or vertical, your "mini-freighter" will not take the same path going as returning. The trade economic screen is misleading as to the actual path of mini-freighters.

I've read here that trade bonuses on modules helps all freighters, regardless if they are yours or someone elses and regardless of if they are trading with you or not. I do not know if that is true, but some gaming experience does lead me to suspect that it is true.
