So i have had packager 4.0 for a while now, and recently had time to play with it. I tried to download some of the available packs, and when i click install, a screen from behing flashes and then goes away. From there nothing happens. Doesn't install anything, NOTHING. Vista Ultimate.. Help appreciated..
Did you have previous versions installed? Have you tired a simple uninstall/reinstall yet?
When you say a screen from behind flashes are you saying that the loading screen has comes up? What version number are you on?
No i didnt have any previous versions installed. Yes i have tried a uninstall/reinstall. I am using version 4.0 and i do not know what the screen that comes up is, it comes behind my iconpackager screen.
Well just to check are your video drivers up to date?
So the software was working, then you started playing with some new packs and it stopped working. After you did the reinstall did you apply one of the base packs to see if it worked again? I went looking and I haven't found many cases like the one you described so far. Also in IconPackager, under Settings>System Settings you can use the 'Rebuild Icon Cache' and Repair Icon Images buttons, which could help with this issue. If not, try the Repair Shell Icons... button and select "Repair shell icons for all processes" and click OK.
