In the random event concerning corruption in businesses, the evil option is a +(number)% interest rate bonus. PLEASE what does this mean?

I'm not quite sure where I found it (manual or browsing English.str), but I seem to recall that it's supposed to affect how much you're overcharged when you opt for a long-term payment plan in exchange for rush-building.

Has anybody ever had a game last long enough to pay off an entire Mitrosoft lease?

As I under stand it the payment is kept the same but the length of the lease is lessened, probably by whatever % the even tells you but I've never checked.
