I Need Help

Tech Editor example?

All I want to do is take the current Terran Techs and add a few new ones and slightly modify a few existing ones. I am so confused by the tech editor. Is there an example anywhere for filling in all the blanks? HELP!!! Thanks, Surpriseguy

As the editors are just an interface to the XML editing, Cari's modding guide stickied in this forum is still mostly applicable, and should give you details about what sort of info needs to go in each field.

You can also download the tech edit program found in the library section than rename the the tree techtree and just add some more than rename it back to the way it was be sure to back it up.And now you have some new techs.
