Entrenchment Question

I may have missed the memo on this, but is Entrenchment going to be at retail and gaming stores or is it going to be a download buy only on Impulse?

It'll be on Impulse only. Once all the micro packs are done they will bundle them up for retail, but as it is a $10 expansion isn't worth to put on store shelves, when you take into account manufacturing the discs, boxes, retailer cuts, etc.

I would like to see a pre-order idea where i can order all expansions and then get cd box set when they are ready to bundle them for retail rather then buy all then pay again to get disks.  Or they could offer some kind of cheaper deal to order disks to people who have allready bought all expansions.

For the Sins release they had a system where you could upgrade a digital download to get a box shipped to you. Paid I think $5 was it for the materials fee + shipping. Maybe they could do that for the expansion bundle too, provided you have all 3 of them otherwise it'd just get too messy.

I was wondering if you can install this downloadable content on multiple pc's or is it bind to one pc?

It shouldn't be bound to one PC.. I'd expect it to use the same system/EULA as Sins.

It's the same as any of our products. If you can install Impulse and log in, you can install it.

Do you feel that having a $9.99 price tag with these micro-expansions was the right business move?

Not really, we've kicked ourselves a bit. At this point in development we've realized the price is too low, but the bar is now set for the other two expansions. Our team got overly excited, feature-creep sunk in, and we went over budget in terms of content and features. I suppose from the gamers' point of view it's a good thing, but are going to try and pace ourselves a little better next time around

I would not think so. The quote you posted says as much, that they realize it's too low but that they already committed for the same thing for the next two expansions :P
