British Empire just formed.

Just kidding. Heh heh.

Some of us Aussies and Kiwis and Americans and Canadians and so on were contemplating starting a Former British Possessions Empire. However, for some reason no-one has yet embraced that idea. So until then, any people from the Motherland (as some us still refer to the UK) can join the united Kiwis and Aussies as we steamroll up the chart. That way, even though you can't legally live down here anymore, at least you can still, in some sense, bask in the sun of success. ;)

Speaking of old. You know how most peeps lie and say they are younger than they are? I'm gonna do the opposite. I figure I look good for my age. But I look darn good for 10 years older.

And did I mention how good Misty looks in her swimsuit? Although I must admit Suzie actually does look better in hers.

I'm 45 years old, but some say I look 44 years, or even 43. Just remember, today is the youngest you will ever look (without assistance).

Actually you could look totally juvenile tomorrow if you decided to go streaking through the Sydney operal house. Not that I am recommending that or anything.

Britannia ruled the waves, true. But the world was a little harder too pull off. You Brits (and Royalists residing elsewhere) can always blame the French and their brand of colonialism. ;)

Oh ho. Gerakken, I'm not sure, but do you mean, maybe, when Brittania ruled the waves, the world situation was sort of like a version 1.02?

Please start a British Empire, so the Irish and Scottish empire...oh and the IRA can be created...hahaha. Less becoming 'Galactic' more 'Nationalistic' civ...however, I would like to see the Union Jack and Irish.

Oh no. the IRA empire. I can see this leading to the Al-Quada empire. The PLF empire, and all other sorts of nastiness.

I kind of like that skull and crossbones logo.

Arrr! There be pirates about. Good logo, J4. Just be sure to stick with raiding ships and not software and movies.

As for my earlier comment, I just kind of have fun when I hear the Commonwealth types harp about how Britain could have owned the world, and then the French messed with the plan with their wars and colonial ambitions. Funny, the Spanish once harped how they could have ruled the world, but then those English came along and spoiled that plan. And so on throughout the history of colonies and war.

It was more messed up by the debilitating effects of having to fight the Great War (parts I and II) than by the French.

Now I'm no history buff, but I saw a very short (British) show on Washington. The gist of it seemed to be that if the French hadn't stuck their Gaellic noses in, America would not have won the War of Independence and would today be just like Canada.

To relate that back to Galciv, it means that the Former British Possessions Empire would PROUDLY be number one as we speak, closely followed by the British Empire.

I think that the Wars merely blew a bigger hole in an already sinking ship Greg. But I would agree, it was not caused by the French alone.
