A little bit more questions

Hmmm, I`ve got little problems with the game, so I`m posting here with the hope of getting help. Here`s what info I need.

Thanks to all in advance

1.How can I increase my income without incresing the tax rate and creating trade routes with other civilizations?

2.How is the ship called with the largest houl? ( I don`t ask which ship is the strongest because you can update them)

3.Can you ever blow up a planet or a sun? (which tech do I need if it`s possible)

I`m starting a new game, so that`s why I`m asking these probably stupid questions. These were mainly my problems in the previous one.

1. Build economy improvements (Trade Centers, Black Markets, etc.); increase your population; find and mine an economic resource; decommission ships you don't need

2. "Huge" is the largest hull type.

3. In Twilight, you can build Terror Stars that can destroy a sun and its planets. All or nothing there.

Re the economy, you can get some basic info at the wiki and there are *many* threads around here on various economic questions.

Thanks! That was really great. But I`ve got two more questions. ( I hope you don`t mind )

Is this "Huge" only a module from "hulls" or is the ship called like this?

And... about the 3rd point... what`s this Twilight? A research? or something like this?

Re ships, I thought you were asking for the name of the largest hull size, but maybe you want to know the name of the built-in design(s) for the huge hulls. I'm afraid I can't help you there, other than to say that if you're not designing your own ships, you should start doing so. There are many threads around here about ship design and why you should do your own.

Twilight of the Arnor is the second GalCiv2 expansion pack. The most common shorthand around here is DL (original game), DA (first pack), and TA (second pack, also pretty often called ToA or TofA).

I should note that TA includes a ship auto-design feature (the original built-in ships were just a hard-coded library of designs). It changes how things work, and might still include a miniaturization-related bug that means it can build better ships than you can. I've never messed with it, so I can't say much other than I've noticed talk on the forums about it.

If you don't already know about it, using a good search engine and adding site:forums.galciv2.com to the end of what you type in the search box. Your search results will be limited to hits here at the forum.

Oh, so obviously I have to get The Twilight version... I`ll look forward to getting it.

I`m playing the D. Lords 1.5v Galactic Civilizations which is probably not one of the latest.

As for the designing my own ships - I didn`t think it was necessary for me to make new ones in order to win the game, but tomorrow I`ll try making one of my own. (I don`t know how actually I`m gonna do this but anyway)

As for those researches - Doom Ray/Black Hole weapon - can you tell me something more about them, because I`m far far away from them.

Thanks for all, buddy.
