Question about PQ

Why do high planet quality planets look purple and red? Just a question because its bothering me. Anyone else find this puzzling?

It's to make them stand out. They're higher quality than Earth (the real Earth)

Then how is it that the systems that have a PQ 26 planet do not stand out?
