Yep these big scoring Maso games shifting things around.

I know that people got upset for EBZero matrix "cheese walktrough" but is not the same this 60000 points thing? As soon as someone cracks the way to score 60000 it is going to be 60000 after 60k for ever and the players who have not mastered this way are basically obsolete if you know what I mean.

Yep so you either play the metaverse or you play the game. Which-ever makes you happy.

Right now I am playing the game, I have quite a few of 0 scores and could be some kind of bug in the expansion pack, so now what I do is a play couple of moves save the game and then retire, when I check the score if it is zero I delete the game if not I return to my previous save and keep playing. I am enjoying right now the mods with the new techs and events and anomalies, they add a little bit of a different taste to the game. LOL

Are the mods giving you the 0 scores??

No, no the mods I think that is a bug in the expansion Pack.

Ouch. In this case, it is better to hold your fire instead of shooting yourself in the foot submitting buggy games. Just curious, though: while casually catching up on a few random threads, this is something about huge maso going to zero score sometime during the game, right? (Gerakken is a little behind in the forum these days.) Why not go to medium crip or something else not maso? I mean, you weren't a maso player before so your scores would not be watered down and crippling still seems to score pretty well. (Five of the current top 25 are not maso players.) Or is this a bigger problem outside of maso and most games try to zero out under various conditions?

There was a couple times in the days I was playing heavily where I had to hold onto an old mid-game save to wait for a bug to get fixed in a later version. (That was the old homeless ship and the corrupted political party bugs of 1.03 that prevented a saved game from loading. Both saves loaded under 1.04 and were finished later.) Those bugs did not happen all the time, but it was annoying to have what was a perfectly fine game going on and then not being able to play it through, so I feel your frustration there.

Theoden had a similar problem with a couple Crippling games.

I used to think maybe it was something to do with Huge/Crippling, but by the sounds of it, there's a lot of games getting flagged anomalous. I've actually started playing Small/Maso just so I can submit a game...let me state here that I would much rather be playing Huge map games. Huge/Maso is a little too much for me right now, but I have seen some success with Huge/Crippling and rather enjoy the challenge.

When I first got the Anomalous, I sent the game to CariElf and she checked it. Both Brad and Cari feel that it has something to do with my 1.10 version (not necessarily everybody's). They suggested I wait until the 1.11 release to submit and see if that fixed it. It appears that more ppl than me have this problem, though. I'm now under the impression that 1.10 has a problem with it that flags many games anomalous when they shouldn't be. That's why I've been so impatient about 1.11 coming out. I think a lot of ppl are having this problem and just not saying anything.

Maybe because this expansion pack included the cheat key, some how this key is accidenatly activated when playing byt the system, could be? :notsure:

So, Theoden, I haven seen that Huge/Crippling that you have been itching to submit under 1.11. What gives? LOL

You mean why haven't I submitted an Anomalous? I caught it by retiring and asked Cari to check it. She told me that it worked fine in her build and that I should try finishing the game and see what happened. I finished it and it still came up Anomalous for me. So they told me to not try submitting it until 1.11.

Trust me, I can't wait to submit it. It's sitting on my desktop, taunting me...I dream about it at night...at work it calls to me...
