It is my pleasure as a new senator of the MWC to congratulate all good peeople of fertile lands with incredible success that our empire achieved in the recent past.

We are not the fastest growing empire but the quickest to rise in ratings. Opportunities are excellent for new (and seasoned) players to make their mark on the face of Metaverse.

We are not asking anyone to defect from other respected empires. We are asking people of midlands (of North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, Japan, all islands) to join MWC. If desire to help a real and noble cause will regretfully make you leave existing empire so be it. Be strong in your true aligence.

We defeated G.R.O.S.S, others are shaking seeing MWC make it's way up.

Celebrate if you are an MWC member. Join us and we shall go together to the glorious future of the Mid Western Confederation.

Our overall empire score dropped. I think we lost an overlord too!

I don't know if most of it was just aging, but it seemed like a big drop in spite of what we might have gained.

Well, the Euros are now rushing the Jedi, because they did lose someone big and are now vulnerable. Looks like the exact inverse of 6 moths ago, when the MWC was one of the empires rushing past a fading Euro empire. Now they are shooting back up again. Just take careful aim after restocking those missiles. The MWC is still very much in the race, just be sure you folks are running a marathon and not a sprint.

I feel your pain. See the Euro's have shorter work weeks and more vacation. Some say they enjoy life more, while others say they don't have as strong a work ethic. Either way they have more time to play. So we will have to either play more or play better (or both).

is that sour grapes... ;) I can tell you that my normal work week is around 50 hours, but i must admit that i have neglected almost anything other than work and Galciv for the last couple of weeks.

Sorry if that came out a little harsh...i just didn't like the the fingerpointing about work ethics :p

What a time for me to take a break from the game. o.o Looks like I need to get to work on some games, doesn't it? I've worked my way up to a galaxy of beginner civs, so I'm doing my best. I hope I can help. I'll go play a medium galaxy right now. Time to get my propoganda machine going! :D No one shall resist the Earthly power of Pepsi and Cocacola, Nike and...uhm...other shoe brands, or Pizza Hut and Subway!

Yeah, i'll probably play a few of those after I finish this one. I like the tiny maps because you can play one in a couple hours. I just figured I'd be able to get the medium maso in, but then my cat had to go to the emergency vets on Sunday, and I didn't really feel like playing any galciv.

Small maso is, in my opinion, just as quick as a Tiny and will score higher. Yes, real life gets in the way too much. I say we all go into hiding and live on the fruit of the land, playing GalCiv all the time and drinking large quantities of alcohol. :D
