HOW TO NOT TO RESTORE WINDOWS SYSTEM AFTER UNISTALL IP

if you wanna keep the icons you have already asociated but want to get rid off IP

After reading those posts about that after unistall IP your Default window's icons didn't appear, but only with the reinstallation of Ip the show back up. also many people have tried to restore them by clicking "restore to Windows default" on one of the options on IP but even this help to the cause... if you unistall IP again.

So many of you had to recur to reinstalling Windows System or running System Restore in order to get your icons back. Well in my case i have decided  to keep my new icons but still get rid off IP (because i didn't know what was gonna happen after my trial time expired if was gonna mess with my new icons putting blank ones instead until i buy the software or keep popping to remaind me to buy it; so didn't want to take a chance)

So, i went to ProgramFiles\stardock\objectdesktop and then got into IconPackager folder and  i started to deleting all those registy files and those for I  couldn't delete them... i opened CCleaner and went the menu "Option" and then i click on "include" and  i specified the folder I wanted to delete (this case Icon Packager) by doing this also specifies that you are deleting everything in the folder, deleting any file of any format (bmp, gif, avi, etc. etc.)

Then i went back to main screen and select "Cleaner" and then "Analyze" you will see in the screen those file from Stardock folder to be deleted, then i clicked Run Cleaner. and Voila! those registry files are gone, by doing this way -instead the unistalling one- IP wont messed up with any other regitry files from anyother program and the cache file (from Icon Packager) will not intefer with the system's registry when is unistalling, then to make sure everything still was in order I restarted my Computer and my icons (the new ones) still are there! (just what i wanted  )

Remember i tried this having my new icons on, now i dont know if this will work after you had restored them from IP software, but most likely i think it will work as well. It doesn't hurt to try.

P.D. i dont know so much about computers and how the system's files behaves/works, but i may have an idea how to work around them when they don't want to cooperate lol

Also English is not my primary language, so i apologize if any word is misspelled or if any sentence doesn't make any sense, but even myself makes any sense either -well that is what my wife says-lol crazy bitch. but still love her.  :P
