Returning Armada and 1.1

Today i tried returning armada for the first since 1.1, and honestly i cant say that i am too happy with the new requirements for it (2500- creds, some number i forgot- metal, and 500- crystal for each time you call in a fleet). Ya the update did fix up some balancing issues for it, but in my opinion Returning Armada is what made the Vasari Completly beastly. I tried it out while playing 2v2 on Doppledangers (me being the economic backup and a teamate to handle defending and attacking) and honostly i cant say that im too happy about it. Mainly becuase on certain maps you are limited to certain types of rescources and for things to run smoothly you have to share and trade with your allies. but when your allies have left and the ai takes over, things go to complete ruin since the ai doesnt give away rescources.

But thats just me, id like to hear from yol what you think about it :)

I don't like the new system at all. Some of the balancing issues were fixed but another was created with the costs, like you mentioned certain maps lack required resources but the main issue is that the cost of researching RA wasnt offset in relation to the cost of using RA. Just my humble opinion though.

Try it on a bigger map and tell me the same thing. The old RA was way overpowered for large maps, but worked for smaller. Now they have fixed it. If the map is that small, you probably shouldn't  be going for RA, instead you should be building your fleet!!!!

oh never mind the ability to run HUGE empire because you can instantly phase your whole fleet to defend it...

 

You also want free ships at the top of it?
