Unable to pick other races

When in new game mode

Hi guys

I hadn't played Gal2: ToA for a few months, but I decided to load it up via impulse, it did a couple of updates (first to ver2.0, then to 2.01)

So i loaded it up fine, went to choose "new game" set the galaxy parameters up, then went to the races screen, but the only one I can now pick is Terran, every other race, even custom can not be chosen??

 

Have i done something wrong here? or am i missing something obvious lol

It sounds like you've selected a Terrans-only scenario, at the galaxy setup screen...I'm not sure offhand which ones these are, but if memory serves they are the majority of them.  The other primary possibility is that you've selected the campaign, but I kind of doubt that.

LOL i had it on accelorated start! changed it to "normal" and they are all there again hahaha, I feel such an idiot.

Many thanks for the prompt reply, I have been sitting here "verifying installs" on all thre games, nearly ready to uninstall/reinstall lol
