Multiplicity and Vista 64

Hello, I am trying to test out the Multiplicity program on Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit.  I have the program (trial) on my main computer and another computer also using Vista Ultimate 64 bit.  When I try to move my mouse to the Secondary Computer, the mouse starts jumping all over the place.  Also, I get errors that Multiplicity has stopped responding and/or has encountered a problem and needs to close.  The two files involved in Event Viewer are Multipl.exe and MFC42u.dll.  I need to figure this out before I spend the money for the full version.  I have turned off my Virus and Firewall software but still encounter this issue.  Can someone please give me information.  Thank you.
