I don't know who or what I'm missing
but they say its something else
true love is envious
true connection an absolute fantasy

i don't know if i've missed you
have you been and gone already?
i don't know if i should bother looking
for a dream, a hazy almost-memory.

i hope i'll recognize you when we meet
i hope i won't let you go too soon
i want to cherish our lives together
if we get a chance, that is.

i want to know the answers
the when the how and the why
will it last forever?
are you out there, wondering too?
