Possible improvement for mines

I've played entrencment for about two hours now (then it crashed, but thats ok, still beta) and i can't help but get annoyed at the mines. not running into them mind you, but getting them to be effective. if i let the mine ships sit there they crap out the mines but only in a close perimeter. it would be really nice if they would move about on their own or if i could set a path for them so the mines would be distributed evenly (seeing as they're useless if the ships don't come close enough). maybe i'm missing something, but i think this would greatly improve this new defence power.

Just set a path for em to follow and thel place em ther. Hold shift to make a long path for them. Thats the vasari the advent im still working on figuring out how to make em work.

Also a neat trick is to make about 10 of the vasari miners and have them go with your fleet to attack a starbase. Have them run around the starbase with the autoplace on an thel destroy it pretty quickly.
