when submitting to the Metaverse

Is it ok to submit games where you have used alot of the extra events and tech from the libary on galciv.com? or can you only submit games from a clean out of the box patched galciv ?
just wondering since I have yet to submit any game to the metaverse and I'd like to submit my current game when I'm finished.

Mods in general can be a tricky proposition Metaverse scoring wise. Most of the library mods (if not all by now) should be clean to use. There was once talk of making a "Stardock approved" seal to mark the ones that were properly tested and cleared, but that is on the back burner now. Anyway, the most risk of an anomolous score would come from using any homegrown mods that did not make their way into the library.
