I agree with you. Unfortunatly i haven't gotten the beta and probally won't but i understand where your coming from. I was a big AOE (age of empires) fan until supreme commander:forged alliance came out and i felt the population max led to extremely drawn out games where your at a truce until one person makes a mistake. The same concept can be applied to most games. WOW, EVE, even supreme commander. At a point most games go to a stalemate until one person makes a stupid mistake. To counteract this i feel that the developers should either write a script allowing endless levels at an exponentially greater strength as to makes the game progress even though you have maxed skills or after everyone hits level 25 involve a deathmatch mode in which either creeps would not spawn or spawn with decreased health and demigods would get some kind of buff. Anything that would end the game faster. Another idea would be to add the ability to introduce lives into the game at that point so you have 3 lives and since everyone is maxed it would be entirely strategy based. In other words i agree something does need to be done.
