OT: Diablo II patch v.1.10

If you like D2, you gotta hand it to Blizzard. While considerably slower than Stardock in terms of updates, this "old" game is getting a new shine.

Time to start a new Barbarian.

Not my favourite game but they did the same thing to Starcraft. No Stardock support, but very good support indeed!

Hey cool, just noticed we have new Forum options :)

Um.. no, of course it is not released. I still am baffled that people believe this is a *real* patch!

It will never, ever ever EVER be out. Ever.

It is a biiiiig practical joke! suckers!! ;p

hmmm. wonder if the Moo3 patch will take that long. I heard Duke Nukem Forever is scheduled to ship before the patch. QS is going to extend the patch offer to survivors who originally bought the game and who have died before the patch release..............

har. just kidding folks. if we cant kid each other, who can we kid?

I must confess, the reason why I havent been submitting scores lately is my time on Battle-Net. I hope 1.10 adds a new shine to the game

i actually bought galciv because i was getting bored of D2, and i was craving for a good turn based strategy. the thing i hate about blizzard is the expansion pack thing they do with all their games, D2 was actually easier before the expansion pack, and when the expansion pack for D2 was up for sale, they added a patch for the non-expansion pack D2, making it harder. i remember being able to kill Diablo without having to run around dodging his fire and lightning attacks, and when the patch came out, it would be suicide to stand infront of Diablo, you couldnt fight him directly anymore like you can with Durial.

i wouldnt mind trying out D2 with the new patch, but im guessing that most of the "nice" goodies will only be available for those who have the expansion pack.

one more thing, the thing that i do like about blizzard is their battle.net, i like it that you dont have to pay for a membership to play other people. they also did a pretty good job setting it up to, the only thing i would change about battle.net is to have a special world built just for tradeing, it does get kinda anoying standing in the chat repeating "got isenhart's sword, will trade for..."
