Entrenchment locks after about 5 minutes play in XP

I have a slightly older machine (Dell XPS 3 series) running xp - had a fully updated version on sins that worked just fine, bought entrenchment. dloaded and seemed to install fine. However, after about 5 minutes of play, game freezes and does a mini-dump, and boots me out. This is getting very frustrating! Uninstalled and re-installed everything, still same problem. Drivers for video are up-to-date (it's a 256k ATI card older series), no issues with hard drive, etc. Anyone out there seen anything like this, and if so, any known work-around? Now regular old Sins won't even work... Thanks for any assistance!

Lots of people had the same problem. Try reducing the texture settings. For me it worked just not to use "highest".
