Space Empires IV

Since I started hanging out at this and the MOO3 forum people have told me to try Space Empires IV. I was saying that I really like MOO3 (don't hate me

) and I love Gal Civ, but somthing is missing in both (I really can't say what). So ordered the game from Ebay and installed it today. First thing that hit me, damn this game has A LOT of option. It's like a cross between MOO3 gal civ, and complex stereo instruction.

I know this is not the place to be asking about other games, but it was you guys that told me to get the game. So HELP! Any advice would be helpfull anything at all.

i thought that space empires 3 was good, that game was responsible for making me like space oriented turn based strategy games. the only thing i didnt like about it was that it was impossible to remain allies with the other players, unlike galciv.
