Graphical additions...

I'm curious, how would others feel about adding graphical representations of the items/upgrades a DG gets so your oponent might be able to recognize that, say the Rook has level three Hammer?  Some things needn't be literal, like the items, but a color change or added aura or glow could be used.  I should be fairly easy to implement, but would it be fun?

I agree, looking cooler would be nice and also things like auras n stuff will help becuase not being able tell what buffs or items the enemys have on them is a pain, and its would make sense like in RL if I saw someone with a huge Sword and i have nothing I prolly wouldn't try to gank him, as oppose to if I didn't know he had the sword.

These things help when your stragegizing, lets you and allies no who they should focus on killing 1st and what not.

Guessing what items your enemies are carrying is not something most people will take kindly too. I'm sure the Dev's will not leave this void in gameplay although i highly doubt that they will implement items and weapons physically changing how the Demigod looks, even though it would be a nice addition. A way to "inspect" an enemy seems like a more reasonable solution if they do not wish to add visual changes.

a building where you buy informations about your ennemies would do the trick... and if it's acces is controled by a flag, it can even be more interesting.

But still, seeing what ennemies wear would be really really fun (but would need a lot of work from the graphic designers, opposed to the building that just need some light coding.

I like the building idea, it could be a "Spy" flag or something like that that allows you to purchase information about your opponent.

Yea, thats is a great idea, or if not a flag then like a spy that moves around on the map, you pay some gold and he gives u stats and item info on the hero you want info on.

Although making visual changes with Items would be cool on the flipside being a game designer intraining myself. It would be quite a bit of extra programming for a small detail, and more ram will be eaten away when they could use that on more useful features.

I guess the problem is that the demigods don't actually wield items, they wield what they spawn with so to speak. Some items just straight up don't fit. Helmets for regulus, weapons for the rook, and so on. I agree that it would be a nice addition, but I fear it should have been added earlier in the production cycle of the game to allow for it to happen.

Overall, it is my sentiment and I think many others share this, that actually customizing your demigods would be a great feature. It may not be possible, but that is nevertheless my feelings about it.

I will be very suprised if the release candidate doesn't have a function that at least allows you to "inspect" other players.

I'm going to make a post about this, but it would be nice if things like shop menus and character inspection were available during the death countdown, since you rarely have time to study things while actually playing...

inspect would be good but phsyical would be way to hard and take to much money to put in. anyway their coukld be problems if u have 5 gloves.
