i keep trying to upload a nice profile pic etc and keep getting a message saying i need flash player - have downloaded and installed flash player 4 times now and still no luck - any advice before i get the sledgehammer out?
You need flash player 9, if you have 10 installed you need to dl the old version and the uninstaller for 10 from here. Link
P.S. Always start with the small hammer and work your way up.
Yeah....but use internet explorer, and Flash Player 9....not Flash 10.
Make sure the pic is the right size, also.

i cannot find flash player9 - adobe keeps downloading version 10 - any ideas where i can get flashplayer9? thanx

thanx jimbo - i have downloaded player9 but seem to have a prob getting it 2 install - so many 2 choose from, and lots for mac
If you had flash 10 installed,Adobe says you will need to use their uninstaller to remove it properly.Click on the link I provided and on that page you will see (TechNote tn_14157) which is a link to the uninstaller.You may have to reinstall 10,uninstall it with the uninstaller,restart your computer then install Flash9(139Mb).
oh i have somehow managed to upload images for my icon and profile - yippee lol
