Rx for coughs and souls

I have lost track of how long I have been coughing, but it's been a while now.  This morning I woke up feeling like a truck was sitting on my face (translation: sinus pain and pressure) and it's reached the point where my chest hurts whether I'm coughing or not.  All I wanted to do was roll over and go back to sleep, but I was committed to a gym session so I got up and went.  Went very slowly but steeply on the treadmill but that was about it.  After being told by the nth person to see a doctor, I came home and made an appointment.  Broncitis and sinusitis.  Antibiotics and an inhaler.  Minimal activity this week.

So I came home and lay on the couch and watched this country begin another chapter in its history.  I watched with the same hope that brought millions of others to witness this event in person.  Whether or not that hope is realized remains to be seen, but the fact that the majority of this nation has come together with this same sense of hope is a wonderful thing in itself.  Regardless of how you feel about the man's politics, the weight of all this hope is a heavy burden.  Let's hope that unlike some before him, who started with hope and ended otherwise, that he can carry the weight...

Sorry to hear that you are still feeling under the weather; but glad to hear that the doctor was able to at least tell you what you have and give you what you need to feel better.  Be sure to take it easy and get better - isn't that what you tell me to do!!!

At work we all stopped what we were doing to watch the inaguration.  It is amazing how the world is impacted by such events; exciting times we live in.
