Starbase upkeeps

Does anyone know how much upkeep starbases require? Do they cost more when they have more modules on them? And do constructors cost any upkeep? I remember someone saying constructors are free, but one of my empires sank into bankruptcy as I was building nothing except constructors.... no buildings, ships, or starbases... just constructors. (Don't ask why... it seemed like a good idea at the time)

Currently, on versions 1.02 or less, there's no upkeep, and on versions 1.03 and 1.04, there's a 5BC/turn maintenance fee, regardless of how developed the starbase is, to the best of my knowledge.

Oh dear... no wonder my economy has been in the dumps. I build one of those for each system with any inhabited stars in it... plus one for every resource I can get my hands on. Yeesh. Thanx for the info.
