New harddrive.
My harddrive died, I got a new one, intalled SoaSE, downloaded impluse, and got the updates without any problems. Thank you very much for all the work you put into impulse. It's very nice and easy to use. ![]()

Yay! I love posts lioke this!
*sigh*
Just can't contain your excitement!
I was just over at the Empire TW forums reading a thread discussing how bad the game is going to be over a month before the game is released. Maybe I should just stay here ![]()
SoaSE is AWESOME! You can go, but you know you'll just come back.
SoaSE is awesome... but on Vista it turns out you really need more than 2 GBs RAM. Even with my 4870 I get 20 FPS when I zoom in on the thick of huge battles. Damn stick of RAM was DoA, hopefully I can order some more soonish
in my opinion vista 32bit needs atleast 4gb ram,yes i do know that 32bit addressing is atmost 4gb before video cards ,bios and other hardware related locations, but vista is vshita
harpo
Good post, no whining for a change!
I can find nothing to whine about. I didn't have to reregister SoaSE, I didn't have to resign up or anything like that with Impluse. I just signed in and got my updates. One question, does the expansion install like an update, and when you buy it will it always be on your account?
Thanks again for the nice products.

For now, the beta does install as an update that over-writes vanilla Sins. But when the final release is out, you will be able to switch between playing the expansion or vanilla
But yes, it will always be on your account.
