"My Docks" popup nuissance at startup.

Hey, I'm using objectdock. It is loaded at startup. Lately whenever I start my os, the "My Docks" window is also loaded. I have no idea how to get rid of it's startup command. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it. I switched to rocketdock (that's how big of a deal this is) but didn't like it as much.

I could not find any info on this issue on the web. Does anyone know how to fix this short of a system restore? Thanks!

You have OD running twice.

Either disable via the startup config (in Windows) or turn it off in OD

Yes, that makes sense. I'm kind of being thrown in a loop here. I'm going to attempt to explain what's happening as best I can, and hopefully not be confusing.

So first, if I remove the icon from startup in the start menu, objectdock doesn't load. Conversely, if I untick 'load on startup' but leave the start menu icon, objectdock also doesn't load.

If I look under System Configuration>Startup I can see two objectdock entries. If I untick one, objectdock doesn't load either, and I am left with only a single (unticked) entry (as there should be). Once I enable any of the startup methods, I get double (ticked) entries once again.

I've been using objectdock for years and never quite had this problem before. hmmm.

I tried uninstalling EVERYTHING, even cleaned out my registry and personal docks folder. When I reinstall it I get the same thing though. Very weird.

Very.

What did you do (outside of OD) right before this started happening; because you clearly point out hat it was working and then stopped.

I'm afraid that I can't point to anything specific that may have caused this. I installed a small game a little before this started happening, Ricochet Infinity, but I didn't put it on my dock...

End of Arafura's quote

That shouldn't hurt it, I've found nothing in Reflexive games that has caused any Dock problems, but uninstall the game, and test the Dock, then re-install the game, if it's not the problem I guess. :)

I was a Beta tester on that game, and have had no conflicts.

Object Dock starts up twice no matter what I do. I try living with it but it's really getting to me.

Download and install WinPatrol, in OD config uncheck run at startup, open winpatrol, startup programs tab, remove any for OD, click Add and browse for ObjectDock.exe.
