Win7 - Dreamscene WORKS FINE but Deskscapes, NOT SO FINE!

Is there a Deskscapes version working for win7? If not is there going to be one in the future?

Hi guys, i'm loving dreamscene on my win 7 32 bit... there are only two bugs i'found on the several tests i've made!

1. just after installing dreamscenes and then deskscapes i can chose a dream trough the Desktop Personalization Panel or trough Explorer choosing the "set as Desktop Background" option! SO FAR, SO GOOD but, if i reboot Windows 7 once, the first possibility ceases to exist and none of my dreams appear in the Desktop Background Panel and also the dream format is left unavailable again! So it leaves only one choice opened to change my desktop dream: choosing trough Windows Explorer and selecting a movie dream in either wmv or mpeg formats! So it's just the same thing as using Dreamscene without Deskscapes!

2. Every time I can't see a Image Preview of the mpeg Dream I'm about to use, Dreamscene will stop running after a reboot so when you're choosing a background see if you can preview it on the Explorer!

Everything else is running just fine! And I never had a DWM/Aero error message, not even once!

So, is there a Deskscapes version working for win7? If not is there going to be one in the future?

You ...do.. realize your running it on an unsupported OS.. right? :|

I get the same with 64 bit. I'm sure there will be a supported version in the future.

i think you can be assured that as microsoft gets closer to releasing Windows 7 then stardock will set about making most of their products compatible. As it stands now with all the changes that happen with Beta software a program that works fine with one beta release can all of a sudden stop working with another so it really is pointless trying to make it work at the moment.

Stardock are usually on the ball with things like this, so as the final release of Win7 looms then you should find the updates for stardock software become available :)

Well, i just hope that when win 7 final release gets out, stardock lunches a 32 bit compatible deskscapes...

One last question, a friend of mine makes after effects animations and were trying to use some of them in the desktop background as a video for dreamscene, but we tryed rendering it with several options, but it still loses that smoth look like other dream videos we've found on the net! At the very least it gets that pixelization look! Not the HD look we were trying to get!

So my question is: what kind of options (like frames per second and stuf) should we get it to look great on the desktop background?

Thanks!!!
