Download wont stop verifying

My download of the latest update has been at 100% for half an hour, and it still says verifying download.  wtf? Download only took a couple of minutes.

Try disabling your antivirus temporarily and running Impulse with admin privileges :)

how do I run it with admin priviledges?  my antivirus is off.

Right click on the Impulse icon and there should be an option.

No option, just preferences (not in there), change log in (or there), check for updates, register a product, restore archive, where is it?

No no, I meant on the icon you click on to launch Impulse in the first place :) Sorry for the confusion.

Glad I could help. :) Impulse does registry edits and such, and needs admin permissions. And at the same time, some AV programs like to hold up the files it downloads and get it stuck on verifying also. So those are always the first two things to try when it gets stuck!
