Dreams Problem

Resize / Crash

When tabbing back and forth between a full screen application (Warcraft III)  and the desktop, my dreams sometime resize leaving a portion of the screen black.  Additionally, The click drag box then begins to behave with an offset.  This is with vista 64bit 1920x1200 widescreen on all dreams with the internal player turned off.  With the internal player turned on, atleast as often as every 2 days, my windows would crash citing explorer as the problem.

(Print screen didnt capture mouse curser; it was 2 OnScreen inches to the right of the corner it was controlling.

It maybe resizing due to the resolution of the program you tabbed out of. If all of the running programs are set to the same resolution as your desktop, it should'nt do it. You may also want to try turning off your sidebar if your running one and see if that helps.

Yea, switching resolutions gives Windows fits.  Also, if your desktop is 1920x1200, then why is the screen shot 1600x1000?  I think Windows is confused about what resolution it's in.

I just tested, and TinyPic.com resizes my 1920x1200 image into a 1600x1000.  It is not the most significant problem, I can fix it by changing to a static wallpaper and then back to a dream.  I dont think it matters but this occurs whether the dream is playing or paused.  Luckily starcraft II will replace warcraft III and fully support 1920 x 1200 unlike warcraft III.

One other thing...I've found that dynamic dreams handle resolution changes with out an issue.

Joint Ops actually pauses the Deskscape dreams and they restart when I close the game down.  My game is not at the same resolution as the normal desktop is and has no issues coming back to the normal size... although I am running Vista Ultimate on 32 bit not 64 bit.  I normally have no issues with the operating system and Dreams/Deskscapes.
