BUG REPORT - Sova Embargo, capship spell ranges

1) The Sova Embargo seems to be buggy.  It stole income from the enemy homeworld okay, but the stolen income seemed to vanish, i.e. it didn't go to me.  My income rate stayed the same.

2) The enemy Mothership hit my two capships with that "damage propogation" spell (malice?) at what seemed to be a huge range.  I checked it on the replay, and the spell hit me from way outsite the tactical radius that shows up when the alt key is held down.  Here is the screenshot.  I couldn't show the tactical radius on it because print screen doesn't work when you hold down the alt key and hit print screen, but trust me - it's way outside that tactical radius.  What's the range on it?  It was a level 1 Mothership, by the way.

Can anyone independently test the sova embargo and report back here?  Can anyone confirm ships using abilities outside their ranges?

It doesn't actually show Embargo being active on your income report, it just gives you the resources. Or are you saying that it didn't actually give you any?

You can hover over the ability to get the range circle for it, and then snap the shot.

As for screenshots, you can just post a link or use the image button, paste the direct link, and select the alignment.. it should be inserted that way.

Nope, all I get when I try to paste an image is a blank, as you will see.

As to Embargo, when I've used the ability before, I could have sworn that I saw my income stream go up by mousing over my money, plus I could have sworn that I've seen it visually in the income graphs at the end of a game.  But having said that, I suppose I could be wrong.  One can certainly look at the enemy's income on those graphs and see when the Sova hits - income spikes down, effect wears off, income spikes up, Sova uses ability again, income spikes down again, etc.

You sure you didnt catch the area effect of the ability? when it "hits" its target it will hit several more in a quite large circle around the initia ltarget, extending the effective range of the ability quite a bit.

Well now I'm less certain :P I know I've never noticed it on the income infocard, though. Well, I need to start a new game anyway since my current one has no TEC AIs to test the new scout minesweep, might as well make myself a TEC as well to check up on this :)

Thanks.  I suppose we need to know definitively from someone whether or not the stolen income stream should show up in a credits mouse-over.  Hopefully someone will confirm.
