Is beta still open?

So I was going through the website and I am intrigued by demigod.  It seems like something I would be interested in playing and I'd like to be part of the beta.  However, from things that I've seen I don't know if the beta is still open if I were to pre-order the game.

 

I ask this because if the beta is still open I would probably pre-order the game to be a part of it.  If it isn't then I would probably wait until the game came out and read the reviews and what not.

I believe it is open until they release beta 3 so you should have a few days

Should still be open.  Be advised that the current Beta is an actual beta, that is there are bugs and issues to be found and worked out.  The current phase of Beta is 2D, which is focused on network connectivity.  Beta 3 begins the gameplay stage of the beta, so if you're interested primarily in playtesting and not network related stuff, I might recommend waiting til Beta 3 before giving it a go.

Yes, it's still open.  That's why every day we get someone new posting 'why can't I connect to any games' question.

I think there's a limit on the number of beta they give out and that number hasn't been reach yet.

They said beta requests will be closed one week after beta 3 is released. So feb 26th :)

Anyone who preorders before Feb 26th will still be able to play in the next update (aka beta 3).  If I read your question correctly, you are not too late.

will there be an open beta for folks, like myself, that will be buying the game somewhere else?  its cheaper at Gamestop than buying it from Stardock.

At this time Stardock is not planning on opening Beta to anyone who pre-orders from third-party sources like Gamestop.  Incidentally, if it is much cheaper from somewhere else it might be because the Impulse pre-orders are the Collector's Edition.

I doubt it, but it is possible they might do an open beta a week before release or something.

Beta will close soon (I don't have an exact date), but I do know that it will atleast be open for the rest of the week.
