Ladder skirmish ranking is up

Is the games won column correct?  Some of you have been playing the hell out of this game.  Kudos.

it is unfair T_T they change my account ID #, I am top atm 47+47=94

How do I find my own ID # so I can see my own stats?

Looks correct to me.  I see most of the people listed in the top 10 everytime I log in to play.

Nice, I didn't think they were keeping stats all this time. Sadly i'm addicted to stats so I will be fighting for that #1 spot but knowingly wont get there.

I wonder if the minutes played only tracks winning games too?  Kira's games won is roughly 30 minutes a game, and Wagnard's is roughly 25 minutes a game - games usually last upwards of 20 minutes unless someone is getting stomped...

Also Wagnard's games won has gone up by 4 in ten minutes? 

human vs ai = skirmish also. Hopefully they will fix that.

Yah that's how Sins' system worked from release and it makes stats fairly worthless - it's a truism in SoaSE that you can play someone with 500 games played and 400 wins/23 losses and they will be completely terrible...the only meaningful stats there are the losses..

at least here time played gives some indication, but they should make games which end in under 5 minutes not count or at least take bot matches out of the equation...

Edit: I'm glad they implemented this now so we could figure out how to game it before release

awww i stopped playing for like a week, i could have mad it up there.....

Ya its weird. But I know tyhat yesterday my stat were not being add-in. Maybe they fix that and gave me back my numbers..

I only did 2 game with a.i this morning. and has left both of them before ending... so I dont think it counted them.

But not sure because I havent check my victory stats before doing those 2 games so... cant tell.

And WTH im not first now! I have 100 wins. Page update delay?

I wonder if it's calculated by win % and also time played - so even though you have more wins Kira's extra 600 minutes balances them out?  Edit:  There must be more factors than just wins and time played, because rank 13 and 14 both have 46 wins but rank 13 has less time played..

 Edit: so as I refresh they are slowly incorporating all ranks, not just top 12 - very cool

There could be many factor that can explain why im not top #1 . but im simply think the page is not updating the rank often. It does updated faster our victory tho.

Not sure about the play time theory. If I check other players, some have less play time then other and are still on top.

and on the death side, im "think" I have a lot less than kira.

I guess i'll have to wait and see!

Anyway stats are all fukup. and they will proably get reset for beta 3 and mostly sure for retail. So we shouldn't care to much about them yet

Rankings will mean nothing if we can't seperate out AI only games.  At release I could just take the week off of work and play non-stop to get ranked in the top 5, but I wouldn't really have anything to brag about. 

I agree a ladder is compleatly meaningless with ai counted games.

Any ladder without me no.1 is clearly meaningless

On any ladder, in any game I've played, I tend to be in the middle to bottom section these days.  Getting married and having a 1 year old daughter has completely destroyed my "mad skillz" (which weren't all that impressive to begin with)  But oh well, someday my daughter will be able to game and I'll destroy here over and over until she surpasses me.

Sorry, but this is technically not a ladder. There is no measure of skill by which to rank players. Number of games won and lost is not sufficient because the top players could simply be playing games against easy opponents.

Anyway. Im sure this is only for preparation of beta 3. And they are showing stats of beta for test. They will surely remove a.i match.

Anyway I know I have approx 10 A.I match in entire beta 2 and If I remember correctly +- 5 death. (or lets say less than 10 for sure)

So I think ill keep spot #1 with this. But cant be sure until the ladder is finish and correctly reporting stats.

anyway I'll drop soon since ill be at the hospital at beta 3 release for treating my cancer so ill be beaten in no time.
